Intermittent Fasting is not just about diabetes control and by staving yourself but it helps to control diabetes by having periods where your system has a rest and it can help in your food control diabetes program, process monitoring what you eat and how much eat that will satisfy without feeling hungry.

Humans have evolved over ions of time to be able do without food of (Fast) for periods voluntarily or through necessity when food is scarce by living on fat reserves.

Body fat is merely raining day store of energy in fat form,the result is when you don't eat or fast for a while. your body will use or eat that stored fat to provide energy.


By using the bodies liver as a storage facility you have reserve fat to use as energy and sustain you until another meal is available without it being detrimental to our long term well being.

These days food is basically plentiful for most of us and the pace of modern living is such that many of us just simply have not got the time left over in our daily busy lives to prepare the ingredients to make meals from scratch.



So we buy in lots of foods that are easy and quick to prepare, however processed and quick meals are often saturated with excess fat,sugar, salt, flavor enhances and the result is overload,added weight for many is increased weight,excess sugar builds up in the blood.

In addition fat saturates the liver and overflows into other organs over one third of people in the US are diabetic and some Asian country's the figure almost 50% now that alarming.



It cannot be an accident that in almost every religion involves to use some sort of fasting period whether its for a period from dawn until dusk or for short time periods.

All seem to have a different reason for advocating fasting some claim it helps to clear mind,cleanse the spirit and purify the body.

Whatever the reason there is no doubt that giving the body even a short rest from eating can be of benefit and with proper fasting management will certainly help those who wish to loose weight.


Intermittent Fasting,Diabetes Control and Blood Sugar Management


Intermittent fasting diabetes control can mean refusing to eat some snacks.

It cannot be overstated it is only with a correctly constructed  planned food program and more daily exercise can you lower blood sugar levels.

Exercise does not have to be exhausting or punishing an extra 15 minute brisk walking will help you to see results.

The major mistake most T2 Diabetics make when starting to try to lower BS levels.

1   Is to be in to much of a hurry to start to make progress. Do take it slowly let your body get used to small changes you make.
That way your body will get used to less sugar etc and a little more exercise without negative reactions.


2  When you choose a program to begin the process to lower BS levels and begin the journey to reverse your T2diabetes, make sure the program fits into your daily life without interfering with your normal daily busy life. Do not choose a rigid program that you have to fit your new life into that will not work long term.

All I have to continue to  maintain my food management and daily active lifestyle I will remain clear of type 2 diabetes for the rest of my life.
